Andrew
Wellman began his commercial photographic career in the dynamic and
creative San
Francisco Bay Area, assisting for
commercial photographer Geoffrey Nilsen. His clients include Krups,
Anichini, and Magic Hat Brewing Company and his work has been published
in Food and Wine,
Vermont Life, Yankee, and Hooked on the Outdoors magazines.
His images are also
featured in Ann Stillman O’Leary’s book Rustic Revisited
(Watson
Guptil) and in The
Vermont Cheese Book (Countryman) by Ellen Ogden.
Like the craft-produced goods movement in the US, Andrew
focuses on
creating high-quality, custom images for his clients. This is
reflected in his choice of studio space and lighting and
digital imaging equipment. Using a large format camera with full
perspective control, and digital technology, Andrew is able to create
images that need no postproduction.
In the studio or on location Andrew has a full range of professional
lighting and photographic equipment to bring to the photographic set.
Whether your company needs a large amount of power for photographing
interiors or you desire the simplicity of natural light food images,
Andrew
can craft the image to your specifications. Every shot is created with
the same attention to exceptional quality, whether
intended to be a billboard or to appear as a web thumbnail.
If your business needs clean, distinct images for advertising, product
packaging, marketing collateral, or requires to-the-point
shots
for sell sheets or trade show
materials, Andrew’s creative, collaborative energy is certain to
produce the compelling images you seek.
